This counselor was very blunt as well as said something awful during our advisory session. I find it odd when readers try to tell you how you're feeling. In a normal setting, people don't typically do that as it's as a result invalidating. I came to her when I was feeling especially vulnerable, so I just want to say that she probably does have talent as well as is skilled but needs to be better at dealing with vulnerable people. I kept sharing how I felt scared by a circumstance, and she kept insisting I wasn't. Reminded me of the scenario of a doctor with poor bedside manner.
